Philadelphia Phillies’ star outfielder Bryce Harper has been named as one of the seven finalists for the Hank Aaron Award, given annually to the best overall offensive player in each league as voted on by the fans.
Harper slashed .268/.420/.542 for a .962 OPS with 13 home runs, 33 RBI, and a league-leading 49 walks in 58 games this season.
Over a normal 162-game season, Harper’s pace would have seen him play in 156 games with 34 home runs and 88 RBI.
