Phillies’ CBP enters digital age

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA – A massive, $10 million digital scoreboard is being installed at Citizens Bank Park and will be in high definition and nearly 7,400 square feet, Phillies team officials said yesterday.

The board will be ready for the Phillies’ last spring training series March 29-30, against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Construction has already begun with the removal of the original Phillies videoboard, which has recently been relocated to the team’s spring training facility at Bright House Field in Clearwater, Fla., the team said.
