The Philadelphia Parking Authority is investigating a cab driver caught on video defecating in the street.
The disturbing video was captured on a private surveillance camera and posted on YouTube. It shows a Freedom Taxi driver bending down to relieve himself on the 1800 block of Bainbridge, then getting in the car and driving away.
Jim Ney, who heads taxi regulation at the Philadelphia Parking Authority, said it received a report of the incident and it is under investigation. Ney said the cabbie has been identified and that he could face possible sanctions, although Ney would not elaborate.
By the looks of it, the PPA probably smelled the offender from a mile away.
