Philly police make job offer to Kanye

The Philadelphia Police Department extended a job offer via Facebook to Kanye West in an effort to help the artist overcome his recently reported debt.

West’s Twitter rant this week about his $53 million debt attracted a response from Philadelphia police who altered a photo to give West the appearance of an officer in a post meant to entice him into a position with the department, Fox reported.

The humorous side of the Philadelphia Police Department has been on display recently as they also used an image of Drake to remind residents that the #NoSavesies policy would be in effect during the recent blizzard, according toNBC.

The post does have a serious message, though, as it was quoted by NBC: “Even if you're not Kanye, please consider a career as a Philly Police Officer. You could earn a great living, receive a fantastic benefits package for you and your family, and make a true difference in your community.”

West has not responded to the department’s offer, Fox added.
