This past Sunday, visitors ate tacos and burgers for a good cause. Two thousand hungry guests flocked to Xfinity Live! for Burger Brawl. The competition is a fundraiser for literacy programs in underprivileged Philadelphia public schools. The event was judged by local TV personalities like Fox 29’s Alex Holley and Mike Jerrick from Good Day Philadelphia and others from Visit Philly and Zagat. This year’s winner for Best Burger went to Pineville Tavern and Best Taco went to Lolita. The bash also had a people’s choice competition that went to Lucky’s Last Chance, their second win for Best Burger, and El Vez for Best Taco.
