PHOTOS: Prostitution busts net 10 arrests

Raids conducted at two alleged prostitution establishments in Southwest Philadelphia and Chinatown have led to the arrest of 10 people, police said today.

Members of the Citywide Vice unit on Friday raided the Twisters MC Club on the 5700 block of Hoffman Street in Kingsessing.

Investigators said they received complaints the club owners were operating an illegal speakeasy, patrons were loud and unruly into the early morning and women inside the club were soliciting money from men for sex acts.

A surveillance investigation revealed the club was unlicensed and that women were performing sex acts for money, according to police.

Authorities confiscated narcotics, 66 bottles of alcohol and $716 from the location. Nine people were arrested – including one 17-year-old female – and charged with narcotics and prostitution related offenses.

The juvenile suspect’s identity is not being released. Also not pictured is 25-year-old Joshua Ward of the 100 block of South 50th Street, who was arrested during Friday’s raid, as well.

One woman was taken into custody on Friday during an unrelated bust of alleged massage parlor Adams Apple Relaxation Spa in Chinatown.

Investigators said they received complaints the establishment on the 400 block of North 9th Street was doling out prostitution in place of massages. He Eun Lee, 52, allegedly offered to perform sex acts on a decoy officer in return for money. She was arrested and charged with prostitution and running an illegal massage business.

Authorities said they confiscated massage parlor towels, lotions, powders, business cards, condoms, TV monitors, $243.00 and a credit card machine from the location.
