Last night, the opening VIP Party was hosted by LDV Hospitality for Scarpetta — a high end Italian restaurant that is finally making its Philly debut. Located on Rittenhouse Square, where Smith & Wollensky used to be, the space has been gorgeously renovated. Guests at the opening VIP party enjoyed fluke crudo, braised beef and duck short ribs and foie gras ravioli.
Originally launched in New York, this will be the fifth location of Scarpetta in the United States. The restaurant will open to the public on Sept. 28.
