Police released images and video Thursday of an SUV in an attempt to catch two men who allegedly stole $32,000 in cash from a Rite Aid store manager earlier this week in West Oak Lane.

The robbery happened at around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday on the 7200 block of Ogontz Avenue, just a couple of blocks from the Rite Aid pharmacy, located on Ogontz near 74th Avenue, according to authorities.

Investigators said the manager called an Uber to deliver a cash deposit to the bank. An SUV hit the car from behind, and, after the rideshare driver exited the vehicle to check on the damage, two men jumped out, police said.

The suspects, who were both wearing ski masks, can be seen on surveillance video opening the backseat doors, and authorities said they ripped the cash bag from the manager’s hands.

Surveillance footage shows that the SUV followed the Uber driver down Ogontz, according to the PPD. Investigators described the vehicle as a 2007-2011 silver or gray Honda CRV with a temporary paper license plate and a Lyft sticker in the front windshield. It was last spotted near the corner of Woolston Avenue and Beverly Road.
