Authorities are looking to identify a man who robbed a woman last week in Center City.

Police said a 25-year-old woman was walking at around 6:30 a.m. Sunday, March 12, on the 1500 block of Locust Street when the suspect approached her and said, “Give me all the money.”

He proceeded to strike the woman on the top of her head – at which point, she handed over AirPods and her SEPTA Key card, according to investigators.

The man then told her he wanted her to withdraw money from an ATM and attempted to pull her down nearby Sydenham Street, authorities said. She was able to break free and run away from the area, according to police.

Detectives described the suspect as a Black man between the age of 40 and 50 who could not open his right eye due to a scar.
