Investigators are trying to identify a group of young men or boys who – seemingly unintentionally – fatally shot a woman last month in Logan.
Police released surveillance video and images Monday showing the suspects in the killing, which occurred at around 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, May 11.
Three males were walking in the area of Broad and Wyoming streets when they encountered another group of men, authorities said. There appeared to be a verbal dispute, and one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and fired multiple shots, according to the PPD.
One of the bullets struck a 32-year-old woman who was a block-and-a-half away from the altercation, on the 4800 block of N. Broad Street, investigators said. She was shot in the back and died a short time later.
