Police say they interrupted an armed robbery in progress early Monday morning in North Philadelphia’s Hunting Park area, CBS reports. The incident took place around 12:30 a.m. when an officer witnessed one suspect pulling out a gun and shooting another.
“During the course of the robbery, the shooter fired three shots, striking one of three robbery victims in the wrist,” Chief Inspector Scott Small explained. “It struck an artery. He lost a lot of blood.” The gunman has been arrested, and the incident is still under investigation.
