Police Investigate Afternoon S. Phila Home Invasion

Police are investigating a home invasion in South Philadelphia this afternoon.

A man told police that, as he was getting out of his car on the 2200 block of League Street around 11:40 a.m., two black men forced him into his house at gunpoint.

They told him to lay on the floor while they took a plasma television, a laptop and a computer, then fled in the victim’s car.

The car was recovered less than a mile away on the 700 block of South 23rd Street. Police have not yet made any arrests.
