Police are investigating an armed robbery in Strawberry Mansion that hospitalized a man last night.
The victim, 23, was accosted by three men on the 2900 block of Diamond Street around 9:40 p.m. in what police say was a robbery. One of the suspects shot the man in the arm and hip.
The victim is in good condition at Temple and is expected to be released shortly.
Police are searching for three suspects. The shooter is described as a 6-foot dark complected man in his late 20s with a muscular build and goatee.
The second suspect, a 6-foot-1 medium complected black man in his late 20s wearing a red t-shirt and dark jeans, was also armed with a handgun. A description of the third man is unavailable.
