Police pulled a body from the Schuylkill River yesterday afternoon near the Chestnut Street Bridge in University City.
After a passerby caught sight of someone in the water, the Marine Unit responded.
They recovered the body of a black male in his mid 40s around 2:30 p.m. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators believe the victim to be a man who jumped into the river two to three days ago
