Police Rule Death of Mt. Airy Woman Found in Fire a Homicide

Police have ruled the death of a woman found in a suspicious Mount Airy fire a homicide.

27-year-old Rosalyn Daniels was killed by multiple stab wounds to the neck, back and face.

Daniels was discovered around 12:30 a.m. Monday when authorities responded to reports of smoke and flames coming from an apartment on the 1200 block of E. Cliveden Street.

A motive has not yet been determined and the investigation is ongoing.
