Philadelphia Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects in multiple robberies of Metro PCS stores in the Hunting Park area.
In the incident shown in last Friday’s surveillance video, two men entered the Metro PCS store on the 3700 block of North Broad Street at 4 p.m. and asked to see a phone.
When the employee turned around, one man pulled out a gun and demanded money. The suspects made away with $130 and fled the store on foot in an unknown direction.
The first man is described as a five-foot-five, 140 to 150-pound black male about 21 years of age with a thin build and the second man is described as a six-foot, 160-pound black male, also about 21 years of age.
At least one of the men is also suspected in the armed robberies of a Metro PCS store on the 3100 block of North Broad Street on September 9 and of a Subway store on the 3200 block of North Broad Street on August 28.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Northwest Detective Division at 215-686-3353 or 3354, call 215-686-TIPS (8477), or submit an anonymous tip online.
