The Philadelphia Collection After Party is at Tryst!

Fashion shows are hard work. I’m just one of the bloggers and reporters
attending dozens of events under The Philadelphia Collection umbrella
and I’m a bit beat. I can only imagine what the designers, models and
producers go through. But it’s been such a fabulous experience so far, I
couldn’t bear to miss out on what’s in store for the coming week!

And,
since I subscribe to the “work hard, play hard” philosophy of life, I’m
always on the look-out for the hottest after party and for TPC, it’s
Tryst, the latest project from Acclaimed Chef Georges Perrier and
Nicholas Elmi. The new late night rendezvous is now open downstairs from
Le Bec Fin at 1523 Walnut St.

“We felt Philadelphia had an intense
need for a casual sophisticated hotspot with unparalleled food and
creative mixology,” says Executive Chef Elmi, “Tryst’s distinct
atmosphere – from design to cuisine – will serve as the perfect
complement to the city’s nightlife renaissance.” The dynamic chef team
has created a modern French menu featuring innovative and contemporary
small plates like truffle and foie gras arancini and jumbo lump crab
cocktail with mustard and malt vinegar. Classic Le Bec Fin dishes are
also available upon request. A lively libation menu includes signature
cocktails such as the Bustier and Peach Smash, an impressive wine list
with a rotating by-the-glass program, and traditional absinthe service.

Philadelphia-based
DAS Architects created the space’s glamorous and sophisticated
atmosphere using custom art work, sparkling crystal, cut-glass
embellishment and handcrafted woodwork. “The dangerous beauty of the
design combined with the warmth of the lighting will make Tryst one of
the best kept secrets in Philadelphia,” says Design Director Susan
Davidson.

Tryst is open Monday through Saturday starting at 5pm,
making it perfect for your post TPC cocktail. For the duration of the
TPC schedule, Tryst is offering “The Paris Runway,” a special that
includes a sampling of hors d’oeuvres and a cocktail for just $20.00.
With a deal like that, the show must definitely go on. See you there!
