Pregnant woman shot, man killed in quadruple Grays Ferry shooting

Authorities are seeking a man on a motorcycle who allegedly shot four people in Grays Ferry last night, killing one man.

Police said the incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. on the 1400 block of South Etting Street, when a man sped by on a black and royal blue motorcycle and opened fire on a group of people.

One man, 22, was shot in the shoulder, a second man, 31, was shot in the leg and a pregnant woman, 29, was also shot in the leg. All are in stable condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

A fourth victim, a 24-year-old man, was shot once in the back. He was initially listed in critical condition, but died at the hospital around 1 a.m.

Police describe the suspect as a black man with dreadlocks wearing a black sleeveless vest over a white shirt. He was last seen fleeing on the motorcycle northbound on 27th Street.

No arrests have yet been made.
