What better way to celebrate Pride than with one of Philly’s most notable drag queens, Brittany Lynn? Lynn and a team of her most talented friends will be headed out to Media for a new variety show this weekend, and Philadelphians can see it for themselves on Friday, June 10, from 8 to 11 p.m. at Towne House. Delco and Upper Darby Pride March

This Saturday, June 11, at noon, Philadelphians can join UDTJ and Delco as they “lay the foundations of Delco Pride” with their LGBTQ+ Pride March. As a release states, the sidewalk march will begin at Beverly Hills Middle School and march West on Garrett before turning up Lansdowne and concluding at the Upper Darby Pride Festival. Marchers are encouraged to bring flags and signs as part of this hybrid event, which hopes to become the model for future marches in its area.

Upper Darby Pride Festival

After the Pride March, participants can then attend the 2nd Annual Upper Darby Pride Festival. From 1 to 5 p.m. on June 11, the festival will feature kid-friendly activities, as well as vendors, music, a DJ, dancing, face painting, nail painting and more. This festival will be free to the community with no admission charge, and will take place at Upper Darby High School.

Collingswood Pride Pop-up on 2nd Saturday

This Saturday, June 1, from 5 to 9 p.m., Collinsgwood Pride Council Volunteers and the Borough of Collingswood will present a special Pride Pop-up at Haddon and Irvin Avenues. According to a release, while there, visitors can look for Brittany Lynn and the Philly Drag Mafia, a live DJ, a dance party, drag queens, face painting, a photo booth, arts and crafters and more.

Bucks-Mont Pride Festival

SAGA Community Center, a program of The Welcome Project PA, is celebrating Pride in the Philly suburbs by hosting the second annual Bucks-Mont Pride Festival. The event will officially take place at the Abington Art Center, and while there, Philadelphians can enjoy live music, food, community resources, family-friendly activities, an art gallery and more. This free, indoor/outdoor event will take place from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 26.

Rosa Mexicano Ardmore

Looking to indulge while celebrating Pride in the Philly suburbs? Rosa Mexicano in Ardmore will be offering patrons their new Pride Margarita, with proceeds going directly to The Trevor Project. It’s described as a “colorful drink topped with rainbow candy” and will be available by the glass ($14) or by the pitcher ($56) while  sold at all Rosa Mexicano locations.

Haddon Township Pride Community Night and Pride Fest

The 2022 Pride and Progress Community Night Sponsored by JFK Living is officially Friday, June 10,  from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. While there at Haddon Square, Philadelphians can check out tables with information and representatives from local nonprofit and supporting organizations, and also, a Drag Queen Lip Sync Battle, DJ, and other fun activities (such as Pride Quizzo at 6 p.m. with Iris Spectre). Then, on Saturday, June 12, from noon to 4 pm, head to the Soha Art Building (1001 White Horse Pike, Haddon Township) to check out local arts and vendors who will be on site, as well as a performance by Drag Queen Story Hour, live music, food trucks and more.
