Purple Gatorade and the hopeless endeavor of gambling on Super Bowl juice

Water is boring. 

When the NFL crowns its champion each year, it’s not typically water that rains down upon the victor’s back. It’s that funny little drink from Gainesville, Florida – Gatorade.

Intriguing still that each year, we all try to guess the color of that bath. That sticky, sticky bath. 

Well, in what can often feel as arbitrary as guessing the coin toss or the length of the National Anthem, Las Vegas, Nevada, has somehow monetized every last possible wager for the most exciting weekend in American sports.

I guess red’s a hard stain to wash out, so I’d steer clear of this one.

THE VERDICT

So I will be going with yellow. As mentioned, we’ve never seen red, and it seems excessive to have blue three years in a row.

Purple could be a fun ringer if you don’t like yellow, so I might sprinkle it a bit closer to game time, but for now, yellow should make you some green.
