Marc Vetri’s Amis (412 S. 13th St.) is hosting its own one-night version of Restaurant Week with a sausage fest on Jan. 29. For $19.99, get a three-course “sausage-focused” menu with antipasti and pasta, an entree and dessert. Five beers from Yards will be on tap for just $5 a glass.
If that’s not enough to entice, rumor is a sausage-eating contest at the chef’s counter is going down too. Participants might include Brad Daniels of Vetri’s Osteria, Kevin Sbraga, the “Top Chef” winner who runs Sbraga and Fat Ham, Jason Cichonski from Ela and Jen Carroll, both also of “Top Chef” fame, and three more to-be-named chefs.
