Send this unique quarantine care package to brighten up someone’s day

A good care package never goes unappreciated, and a quarantine care package is something that very well could brighten up someone’s whole week.

A site under Resting Gift Face recently launched that allows people to connect with family and friends in a fun and unique way while also employing safe social distancing practices—by sending a unique care package that will help tackle boredom and even anxiety while self-isolating. Plus, doing something nice for your loved ones or family will undoubtedly help you beat the social distancing blues as well.

The idea for the care packages comes from two power-house Philadelphians: Donielle Powell, an event designer and planner, and Kylie Flett, a hospitality-focused publicist.

“We’ve always wanted to work together but our schedules have never synched up,” said Flett in a release. “The idea of Resting Gift Face was something we have been chatting about very casually for some time, but the current pandemic turned a happy hour brainstorm into a reality when we decided to launch with the Quarantine Care Package.”

The care package features: a jump rope to help make working out at home fun, a 3D puzzle to officially kickstart or prolong your puzzle addiction, zombie tic-tac-toe to keep you busy, adult coloring books and colored pencils to bring out your artsy side, a quarantine recipe card and Emergen-C garnish to help make your night a little more spirited, a hand-written note to make it all even more special, and an official ‘I Survived COVID-19 Sticker,’ because why not?

“Social connectedness is more important than ever but also seemingly impossible in the current climate,” said Powell in the release. “We’re hoping that the Quarantine Care Package helps bring people together in a fun and unique way.”

If that special someone in mind has a birthday coming up, you’re in luck as well, the special Quarantine Birthday Care Package is also available through the Resting Gift Face site.

The Birthday Package features everything from the general Quarantine Care Package, but also includes your choice of a hand-crafted “QuaranKing” or “QuaranQueen” birthday card, birthday candles, a ‘Happy Birthday’ banner, noisemakers and two Confetti-filled latex balloons.

The biggest bonus of all? As the website states, the packages will allow you to connect with family and friends in a fun and unique way—but, while never even having to leave your couch, or put pants on.

The Quarantine Care Package and the Birthday Quarantine Care Package are both available now via restinggiftface.com for $54 and $69 (plus shipping). For more information, visit the official website.
