Shania Twain fans, rejoice! Remember back in 2015 she came through Philly for her “Rock this Country” tour which was supposedly her last?
(If you don’t remember all the press back then about her retiring, check out this article from Rolling Stone where she is quoted as saying, “I feel like there are so many other things to do musically, and there is just not enough time to do everything…Right now I feel as if I’ll be satisfied after the tour to not perform anymore.”)
Well, now you have another chance because according to Philly.com, it’s been announced that the global superstar will be going on tour in 2018 and swinging through Philly on July 12 at the Wells Fargo Center.
The new tour will be in support of her new album, “Now,” which will be released on Sept. 29 of this year by Mercury Nashville records.
Tickets go on sale August 25 at 10 a.m.
Check out a video of her performing one of the new singles, “Swingin’ With My Eyes Closed,” below.
