A dispute between two tow truck operators resulted in a shooting that landed one of the operators in the hospital yesterday, police said.
The two operators responded to a crash at Whitaker and Hunting Park avenues around 10:30 a.m., police said. The two began arguing over who would tow one of the vehicles, and then a 36-year-old man was shot in the thigh, police said. The victim drove to the 25th Police District, where he collapsed and was taken to Temple University Hospital by officers.
Police would not identify the suspect last night, but said they expected him to surrender.
