This weekend holds many opportunities to shop till you drop, especially through some local vendors with Small Business Saturday in Philly in 2023.
Germantown Arts District
Germantown Arts District will be celebrating the shopping holiday with an inaugural activation, titled the “Gratefully Germantown Event.” The afternoon (from 1 to 5 p.m.) will “combat the usually hectic Black Friday shopping and create a calming but exciting event for friends and family to enjoy after the holidays.”
As a release states, while guests shop for their hand-crafted goods and enjoy music from the DJs and musicians, the little ones can participate in Thanksgiving-themed activities. And for those hoping to connect with people in their neighborhoods, there will also be two interactive activities to participate in with strangers and friends. More information can be found online.
There’s a way to give the gift of some self-care and show some love for a local business that has set up shop in both Manyaunk and Wayne. This renewal studio boasts a wide variety of services from 6D massage pods to red light therapy, to an infrared sauna and a few others in between. And for Small Business Saturday in Philly, dtXfy will be offering buy one, get one half off gift cards.
And for those looking to indulge outside the holiday, you’re in luck. The studio is also offering a weekend-long celebration for their Manayunk studio’s anniversary with local food and beverage offerings, collaborative wellness pop-ups, giveaways, and more, starting Dec. 1.
