Philadelphia-native band SNACKTIME is set to return to their hometown following a series of nationwide tours for a show on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 8 p.m. at The Oval, the popular local pop-up located just from the famous steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Featuring a truly unique sound that blends inspiration from soul, funk, R&B, punk, and more, SNACKTIME’s seven-piece band has a bit of something for everyone.

The band’s return to the City of Brotherly Love comes after notable performances at venues such as the legendary Red Rocks and multiple performances at the famed festival and conference South by Southwest while touring with Portugal the Man earlier this year. This show will mark their first live performance in Philadelphia this year.

“It’s an honor to have had the opportunity to curate such a robust and stellar line-up of some of our favorite musicians for this inaugural concert series at The Oval,” said Sam Gellerstein, Co-Founder and sousaphonist of SNACKTIME. “We couldn’t be more pumped to join in on the fun and get to celebrate the conclusion of SNACKTIME Saturdays with all of our friends, family, and the city we call home.”

This show, located at the heart of the Philadelphia Parkway’s museum district, is free to attend and features Sibby Liv, who will open the live show, which will be the final weekend of action at The Oval.
