The Sixers made a trade!
But it’s not the one you were hoping for.
The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowskisaid Philly is finalizing a trade with Atlanta that would sendErsan Ilyasova, an unsung hero of the Sixers’ recent relative success, to the Hawks for TiagoSplitter and two second round picks.
Woj confirmed the first pick is a 31-39 protected second rounder, via Miami and the second is a swap between the Sixers and Hawks.
Splitter has averaged 10.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in Atlanta. He is 32-years-old.
The move comes around 18 hours before Thursday’s trade deadline.
There is no word as of yet as to whether Philly will be able to move Jahlil Okafor or Nerlens Noel.
