When thinking about shopping, we can all probably think of one or two people who would benefit from a bottle of bubbly or a pack of refreshing beer, and there are a few local distillers, wineries and stores that can help when buying libations for loved ones. For those who aren’t indulging in spirits, there’s even a specialty store that will certainly hold a bevy of one-of-a-kind gift options.
Boardroom Spirits
The popular distillery located in Lansdale is offering gift bundles of their premium spirits such as the “Train Set,” which is a set of all four 750mL bottles of their Northbound Whiskeys (Bourbon, Rye, Wheat and 100 Proof) for $93.99. If the Train Set doesn’t wet your whistle, Boardroom will also be offering a bottle of their highly sought-after praised Nocino walnut liqueur, a once-a-year offering that will debut mid-November and makes the perfect holiday cocktail to enjoy by the fire.
Chaddsford Winery
The local hotspot created a Holiday Cheer 3- Pack ($55) for a perfect local gift for the wine lover in your life. According to a release, what’s unique about this bundle is that each wine is perfectly suited to Thanksgiving, Winter Holidays and New Year’s with the inclusion of a bottle of Spiced Apple, Holiday Spirit and ’18 Sparkling White. For every pack purchased, the winery will also donate $5 to the Hospitality Assistance Response of Pennsylvania (HARP) which provides emergency funding to Pennsylvania hospitality workers impacted or displaced by COVID-19. Weaver’s Way Mercantile
This general store offers a lot more than just general items. In fact, most of their offerings are unique and locally made. Philadelphians can peruse through kitchenware, house-ware, vintage items, jewelry, pottery, artwork, plants and more and shoppers can even find the latest locally-made goods by following them on Instagram.
