To truly ring in this season with some style, Stratus Rooftop Lounge will once again throw its fan-favorite event, the Spring Awakening.
The annual occasion is set for Friday, April 25, and will transform the 11th-floor venue of the Kimpton Hotel Monaco into a fully immersive and over-the-top casino-themed bash dubbed “A Winner’s Celebration.”
Guests can expect live music, performances, inventive cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, lollipop aerialists, showgirls, a roaming photo booth, a raffle, and more. There’s also a way to up the ante on the evening—for an extra $45, guests can enter one of the Lounge Pavilions to try their luck in blackjack, roulette, craps and other table games. Buying this extra add-on gets you “Stratus bucks”, aka chips for playing. Once cashed out, guests can utilize the winnings to buy extra raffle tickets for prizes as well.
“A Winner’s Celebration” will also highlight a newly launched seasonal cocktail menu courtesy of Beverage Manager Patrick Banko, plus curated fare from the culinary team at both Stratus Rooftop Lounge and its sister restaurant, Red Owl Tavern (located on the ground floor of the same hotel.) As a release notes, in addition to themed décor, guests can expect spirited sippers (like “elevated” martinis and reimagined classics), and a bevy of light bites (think steak frites tartare, lobster thermidor, Oysters Rockefeller, gold bar chocolate truffles and more).

Tickets for the VIP cocktail hour (5:30 to 8:30 p.m.) run for $100 and include complimentary fare, access to entertainment, and an open bar.
