State senator not running for mayor

State Sen. Anthony “Hardy” Williams has announced that he would not run for mayor, a move he mulled after losing the Democratic nomination for governor last year.

“Those concerned about our city’s future should know that they will have both an advocate and an ambassador in me,” he said.
