Posted

Two teenagers were wounded in a shooting Tuesday night inside a North Philadelphia home, police said.

The incident happened at around 7:15 p.m. at a property on the 2400 block of Cecil B. Moore Avenue, according to authorities. A 14-year-old boy was shot in the abdomen, and a 15-year-old boy was struck in the ankle, investigators said.

Both victims were taken to Temple University Hospital, where they were being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, law enforcement officials said.

A PPD spokesperson told Metro that the teens “had exchanged some words with an unknown, heavy-set black male” before the shooting. No arrests have been reported. Anyone with information is asked to call or text the police tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477).
