The Philadelphia Eagles will officially move on from the Jeff Stoutland experience with the hire of Chris Kuper on Monday morning, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

Kuper, 43, arrives in Philly following coaching stops with the Minnesota Vikings (2022-2025), the Denver Broncos (2019-2021), and the Miami Dolphins (2016-18).  The 2006 NFL draft selection will have some familiar faces on his new coaching staff. Kuper worked as an assistant line coach under Vic Fangio’s offensive unit with the Dolphins in 2019 and worked alongside the new Eagles offensive coordinator Sean Mannion in Minnesota. According to Pro Football Focus (subscription required), the Vikings finished 18th in the NFL in offensive line performance during the 2025-26 season, while the Eagles placed seventh in that end-of-season list.

The Anchorage, Alaska, native is one of only a handful of players from the state to play in the league, following an eight-year NFL career with the Denver Broncos that spanned 90 games from 2006 to 2013.  The guard was even credited with a seven-yard reception on a fourth-down lateral during the 2015 NFL season.

With the hiring of Kuper, the Eagles will check off another item on the off-season checklist as the NFL world speeds towards the 2026 NFL Draft. This year's player import process will take place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from April 23 to 25.
