Police on Monday described the victim’s adult daughter as a “person of interest,” and they have not identified her or the deceased.
Officers were called just after 10:45 p.m. to the 4600 block of Westminster Avenue in the Mill Creek neighborhood, where they found the older woman, who had been stabbed multiple times. She succumbed to her injuries at a nearby hospital a short time later.
Law enforcement officials have not commented on a possible motive or the circumstances that led to the slaying.
