Police are searching for two men and an SUV in connection with a fatal double shooting that happened Saturday in the Kingsessing neighborhood of Southwest Philadelphia.

On Monday, detectives released photographs of the suspects inside a 2006 Toyota Highlander with Pennsylvania license plate MVT-7466. The vehicle appears to be blue, with mismatched red doors and side mirrors.

The shooting, which reportedly stemmed from a road rage altercation between those in the SUV and a group of e-bike riders, happened just before 5 p.m. on the 5200 block of Chester Avenue, according to authorities.

Miguel Quinones-Barreto, 20, of Haddonfield, New Jersey, was shot and died a short time later at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, police said. Gunfire struck the other victim, a 25-year-old man, in the right arm, and he was treated for nonlife-threatening injuries, law enforcement officials added.

Anyone with information about the killing is asked to contact the PPD’s Homicide Unit at 215-686-3334 or call or text the tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477).
