Families staying at Loews Philadelphia Hotel this summer can add a little learning to their vacation.
The hotel has launched a new lineup of hands-on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) activities designed to inspire curiosity and creativity among young guests through interactive explorer kits, art experiences and exclusive family-friendly perks.
Loews recently unveiled a variety of discovery-driven events with an expansion to its Loews Little Legend programming, designed to encourage exploration, transforming everyday hotel moments into hands-on experiences.
“Today’s families are seeking more meaningful and enriching travel experiences,” said Kristie Goshow, Chief Commercial Officer at Loews Hotels & Co. “With our new Loews Little Legend STEAM programming, we’re giving young guests the tools to turn everyday moments into opportunities for exploration, sparking curiosity while creating lasting memories for the entire family.”
These custom-created exploration kits go beyond traditional amenities and encourage young travelers to actively engage with their surroundings. Each kit includes a curated set of science-forward tools such as binoculars, compasses, magnifying glasses, and kaleidoscopes. Everything is paired with a thoughtfully designed companion activity book. Simple prompts and interactive challenges encouraged children to observe, experiment, and uncover new perspectives throughout their stay at the hotel.
The hotel’s monthly art and jazz brunch now includes a complimentary art activity experience inspired by the featured monthly artist from Morton Contemporary Gallery. Children can unleash their inner artist alongside a trained professional on the last Sunday in June, July and August. Sign up at the front desk prior to participation.
If families have tickets to Highmark Mann Center for the Performing Arts, they can take advantage of the Mann’s Donor Terrace & Garden before the concert or during intermission for all TD Pavilion performances.
For concerts at the Skyline Stage, hotel guests will have access to the Acclaim Tent. These locations have private cash bars, restrooms, video screens, and food available. Show your hotel key card upon arrival for VIP access (some dates are unavailable, including June 27 and Aug. 14). Tickets to shows must be purchased separately from hotel reservations.
The launch of the new STEAM-focused programming is available at Loews Philadelphia Hotel through Labor Day. For additional information, visit loewshotels.com/philadelphia-hotel.
