Gunfire struck a 7-year-old girl who was in the backseat of a car Tuesday night in Fairhill, authorities said.
The child arrived at Temple University Hospital at around 7:15 p.m., and her injuries are not expected to be life-threatening, according to police. Investigators said the bullet came through the car and struck her in the arm.
Detectives believe the shooting happened on the 3000 block of N. Marshall Street. Her family reportedly rushed her to the hospital in the aftermath of the incident. No further details have been released.
