Philadelphians can break out their best checkered gear and get ready to sip — Flannel Fest is back in town.

Set for Sunday, Oct. 25, from noon to 5 p.m., the event is celebrating its fourth year in 2026, and once again sets out to be a celebration centered on Philadelphia culture, entrepreneurship and community.

“Flannel Fest is proof that you can build something people believe in,” says Robbie Long, founder and producer of Philly Flannel Fest. “To see more than 1,300 people show up last year was bigger than an event for me. We’re building a brand, creating opportunities for other entrepreneurs and giving Philly something that people can look forward to every fall.”

Housed in a historic Germantown textile factory reborn as a collaborative home for entrepreneurs, creatives, small businesses, and nonprofits, Flannel Fest serves as a way to help aid The Braid Mill’s mission.

The Mill is currently owned and operated by the Shipon brothers, who took over the venue in late 2019. After the Covid pandemic, the duo decided to alter their vision and revamp the space into the 40,000-square-foot community hub built around connection that it is today. After officially opening its doors in 2023, the Mill has housed private studios, coworking areas, meeting rooms, event venues, and a steady calendar of programs and workshops.

It’s also home to more than a dozen small businesses and nonprofits, ranging from youth programs and arts organizations to local wellness and creative enterprises.

This year’s festival will transform the venue into a complete celebration of fall, with seasonal fashion, live entertainment and local food all conceived by Philadelphia’s small-business community.

Guests can showcase their take on the flannel style, while checking out live performances, seasonal cocktails, hot cocoa, local wines and Philadelphia food favorites alongside vendors featuring local makers, entrepreneurs and creative businesses. Fall-inspired installations and photo backdrops will also be on site to round out the experience.
