Sixers sign Tacko Fall, Jameer Nelson Jr., Saint Thomas to Exhibit 10 deals

The Sixers made three additions, signing Tacko Fall, Jameer Nelson Jr. and Saint Thomas to Exhibit 10 contracts, the team announced Tuesday.

While Philadelphia has both a standard and a two-way roster spot available, Exhibit 10 deals are non-guaranteed, one-year contracts that allow players to compete for a roster spot during training camp.

Teams often use Exhibit 10 deals to keep players they have some level of desire for within the organization. If waived, players on Exhibit 10 deals can join the team’s G League affiliate and receive a bonus for doing so.

What makes these additions particularly interesting is that Philadelphia still has an open two-way roster spot. Fall, Nelson and Thomas are all eligible for a two-way contract because they have fewer than four years of NBA experience.

The Sixers are not expected to fill their final standard roster spot until well into the season, making the two-way opening another avenue to add depth while operating with only 14 players on standard contracts.

Fall is the only player of the three with NBA experience, spending three seasons with the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers. In 37 total games, he has averaged 2.2 points and 2.1 rebounds. Fall’s size is imposing, at 7-foot-6, and while you can’t teach height, he has consistently worked to round out his game and carve a consistent role at the NBA level.

For the third straight season, Nelson is signing an Exhibit 10 deal. The son of Sixers Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Jameer Nelson, the next-generation Nelson spent the past two training camps with the Spurs and Kings, respectively. Last season, he averaged 19.9 points, 3.7 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game for the Stockton Kings.

Thomas joined the Sixers on a Summer League deal last year after going unselected in the 2025 draft. He spent the regular season in Delaware with the Blue Coats, where he averaged 12.5 points on 46.5 percent shooting in 36 regular-season games.

With training camp approaching, all three will now have an opportunity to compete for a place within the organization, with Philadelphia's vacant two-way spot providing a potential path beyond the preseason.
