Grab your green and get ready to celebrate. From parade-day parties to Irish-inspired menus and pop-up bars, Philadelphia-area venues are going all out for St. Patrick’s Day this year.
Locals can celebrate the spirited holiday with a festive parade party this Sunday, March 15, which will take over Headhouse Square Plaza. The event will be in full swing from noon to 7 p.m. with pop-up bars (from spots like Cavanaugh’s, Paddy Whack’s and Bridget Foy’s), food vendors, live music, entertainment and more. The event is designed to be family-friendly and will take place along 2nd Street between South and Lombard.
Bridget Foy’s will also serve up themed specials like whiskey flights and an Irish Coffee cocktail through March 17.
After the city’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade, all ages can head to Craft Hall for a relaxed, family-friendly gathering. From 1 to 5 p.m. on March 15, families can enjoy free kids coloring sheets/crafts and complimentary green dog bandanas (while supplies last), plus access to their Puppy Porch and Unleashed, Craft Hall’s off-leash dog park/beer garden. During kitchen hours (dine-in only), kids can also take part in the $10 Build-Your-Own Kids Pizza special, where they assemble their own pie at the table before the kitchen bakes it for them hot and fresh.

This weekend, Peddler’s Village and the Bucks County Center for the Performing Arts will debut ‘The Galway Girls: A Celtic Celebration’ at the Cock ‘n Bull Restaurant.
