A Wildwood landmark has begun a new chapter—and it’s quite rosy.
The Pink Champagne Boutique Motel has been a longtime symbol of the seaside city’s celebrated Doo-Wop architecture. Situated just a block from both the beach and boardwalk, the motel has welcomed vacationers since 1957, but recently was acquired by lifelong Cape May County resident and real estate investor Antoinette Madonna.
Through renovations, the property has been reimagined to offer “a refreshed guest experience” with bright, coastal-inspired décor, updated accommodations, and enhanced amenities, all while honoring its vintage character and nostalgic past.
"When I first saw the motel, I knew it deserved another chapter," explains Madonna. "We wanted to preserve its history while creating the kind of place where guests instantly feel relaxed, welcomed and excited to make new memories. It's about honoring what people have always loved about Wildwood while giving them an experience that feels fresh and unforgettable."
Guests can choose from rooms for two, spacious studios and one-bedroom suites that sleep up to six. Most layouts feature separate living areas, and some also include fully equipped kitchens. Each guest room has been refreshed with contemporary furnishings tied to the motel's signature mid-century aesthetic.
Modern amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning, premium Beekman 1802 bath products, coffee makers, kitchen appliances, plus access to the property's pool and sundeck. Select rooms also feature private balconies with ocean or pool views.
There’s also a full buyout option where groups can book out every room and the entire motel — pool, sundeck, and all — for the weekend. The motel can also help plan your itinerary, including golf outings, a tiki cruise on the water, a lazy day on the sand or a boardwalk bar crawl.
For the Pink Champagne Motel, Madonna envisioned the renovation as more than the preservation of a historic property. Her goal was to create a destination that celebrates the timeless appeal of the Jersey Shore while providing the modern conveniences and amenities that are needed today.
"Our hope is that guests arrive feeling nostalgic and leave with new memories they'll want to relive year after year," Madonna finishes. "If families make the Pink Champagne Boutique Motel part of their Wildwood tradition, then we've accomplished exactly what we set out to do."
