Police announced the arrest ofRashan Roberts in the hit-and-run last week that left a Temple student badly injured and still recovering at a hospital.
Rashan Roberts, 18, who turned himself in, was arrested for the crash and charged with leaving the scene of an accident with a serious injury.
The 18-year-old driver turned himself in a day after the crash and told police he was not intoxicated but fled because he “panicked,” reports said.
“I will be attending these ceremonies on Thursday because Rachel will be with me in spirit. I need to do this for my daughter. It’s as though Rachel is telling me to go. I know I would regret it next week if I did not do this for her,” Kathy Hall wrote.”I need these items to surround her in her hospital room. Items of accomplishment and positivity. I need to know that when Rachel awakes she knows she has graduated college and her career and future is ahead of her.”
