Officials conducting a detail of southern New Jersey’s rural areas arrested a suspected white supremacist after they uncovered a stockpile of guns and ammunition in the woods.
Bruce J. Post III, whom police encountered in a forested area near Bryant Road in Lacey Township as he was wearing combat gear, was arrested after police discovered a variety of guns in his possession, the Lacey Township police reported.

Police discovered an AK-47, a 9mm handgun, eight 30-round high-capacity magazines, one 100-round drum magazine and other ammunition at the scene where they encountered Post, who gave authorities “indications of possible white-supremacist involvement,” the police stated.
Post, a Hamilton, New Jersey, resident, was charged with various counts of unlawful weapon possession and lodged at the Ocean County Correctional Facility in default of $400,000 bail, authorities added.
Because of the suspicious nature of their encounter with Post, police conducted a K-9 and foot search of the area, according to the Lacey police, which added that they also found tarps and shovels at the scene.

The task force that found Post was established only three weeks ago to investigate increasing trespassing by people in off-road vehicles in wooded areas and criminal activity in the rural spaces west of the Garden State Parkway in Lacey Township, officials stated.
