A 16-year-old boy was shot and three other teenagers were hit with broken glass Monday morning when someone fired multiple shots into a house in Fairhill, police said.

The shooting occurred just after 10:30 a.m. on the 2500 block of N. 4th Street, according to authorities. Investigators said the four teens were inside when the suspect began shooting into the home from the street.

Police said the boy was shot once in his back and taken to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, where he was in stable condition.

Shards of glass struck the three other young people, ages 15, 16 and 18, and they were treated at the scene for minor injuries, authorities said.

No one was arrested in the immediate aftermath of the shooting.
