The Temple Women’s Gymnastics Team suffered the fear of highway travelers during wintery weather. They were snowbound for more than 24 hours this weekend, from Friday evening to Saturday.
The gymnasts kept their spirits up however by playing Uno and sharing messages with the outside world via social media.
The team was on the Pennsylvania Turnpike heading to Pittsburgh for a meet when traffic slowed to a halt as snow fell near the Bedford exit.
The Duquesne University men’s basketball team was also stuck for 24 hours.
See below for posts from the team telling the story of their ordeal.
