The Chainsmokers perform at a Philly wedding

This past weekend, The Rittenhouse played host to a truly epic wedding — one where The Chainsmokers performed for the bride and groom.

Turns out the groom is best friends with Chainsmokers member Andrew Taggart and asked him to add backup vocals to the band’s hit song, “Paris.” Knowing his BFF would be performing, he got one of Philly’s hottest wedding bands to perform the party, EBE’s 18-piece act, LA Starz.

Taggart ended up performing three Chainsmoker hits for the 200-person crowd that included “Closer,” “Paris” and “Something Just Like This.” He was joined by the bride and groom, members of the wedding party and the other half of Chainsmokers, Alex Pall.

Talk about an unforgettable wedding. It’s not everyday you get serenaded by one of the biggest musical acts on the charts.

The Chainsmokers will be back in Philadelphia for Budweiser’s Made in America 2017 on Sunday, Sept. 3.
