Looking to score some theater ticket deals and subscriptions in Philadelphia? You’re in luck, we’ve rounded up some of the best options for the 2024-25 season.

Theatre Exile

South Philly’s Theatre Exile is known to lean into edgy shows and stories for its stage. In the 2024-25 season, Philadelphians can expect ‘Red’ by John Logan (Oct. 24 to Nov. 10) and ‘Glitter in the Glass’ by R. Eric Thomas (May 29 to June 15.) On top of the fall and spring plays, Philly Grit will be in full swing at the company this winter. The annual series showcasing local artists and their productions will return in 2025.

Philadelphians who are interested in indulging in everything Theatre Exile has to offer can opt to buy their Flex Pass, with options spanning a 3-show preview package for $45, 3-show weekday bundle for $83 or a 3-show weekend bundle for $95. Buying the Flex Pass also gets you an additional 20% off on single tickets.

InterAct Theatre Company at The Proscenium Theatre

InterAct is offering a packed 2024-25 season, with shows spanning the American premiere of ‘Moreno’ by Pravin Wilkins (Nov. 1-24), the world premiere of ‘Quixotic Professor Qiu’ by Damon Chua (Jan. 31- Feb. 23), the National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere of ‘Rift, Or White Lies’ by Gabriel Jason Dean (April 4-27), and a world premiere commissioned as part of The Philly Cycle of ‘On My Deen’ by Antu Yacob (June 6-29.)

Through InterAct’s subscription offerings, locals can pay $115 for 4 tickets to use any way you want this season, plus, one additional to bring a friend (5 total.) Any additional tickets will also be reduced to $29. InterAct also offers a student/industry bundle for $60 with some of the same perks. More information can be found online.

Lantern Theater Company

Lantern Theater Company recently kicked off their 2024-25 season, with a full slate of new shows and fan favorites. ‘The Wanderers’ by Anna Ziegler is on stage at the Center City venue until Oct. 6. ‘American Moor’ by Keith Hamilton Cobb will then kick off (Nov. 7- Dec. 8), followed by ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ by William Shakespeare (Feb. 13- March 16.) ‘The 39 Steps’ adapted by Patrick Barlow from the novel by John Buchanand and the movie by Alfred Hitchcock will then close out the season (May 15-June 15.)

Those looking for deals can opt to buy a few different subscriptions. The 4-Play Fixed Series offers $28 per play and VIP access to the “best available seats in the house” for those who subscribe now. Flex Packages are also being offered for locals who have already seen ‘The Wanderers’ with options spanning bundles for two, three or four shows at different rates.

Theatre Ariel

Known as the area’s “premier Jewish theater company,” Theatre Ariel is offering a Mainstage production for the first time in 15 years this season, plus, a few productions in Salon Ariel for 2024-25 as well. The Mainstage will kick off with ‘Amsterdam’ by Maya Arad Yasur, translated by Eran Edry. The production will take place at the Christ Church Neighborhood House ( 20 N American St.) from Nov. 14-24.

In Salon Ariel, locals can find ‘The God of Isaac’ by James Sherman (Jan. 25 – Feb. 2), ‘Good for the Jews’ (March 1-9), and ‘The Goldsmith’ by Sharone Sayegh (April 26- May 4). As their official site states, becoming a member is a great way to support Theatre Ariel while also getting access to exclusive perks such as free ticket exchanges, access to their Member Exclusive supplementary issues of The Lion’s Den, and much more.

Inis Nua Theatre Company

Inis Nua is back for another season with a few different productions set to grace its stage. The first, ‘The Playboy of the Western World‘ by Bisi Adigun and Roddy Doyle (Sept. 19- Oct. 13) has been provided by The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage, with additional support from the Government of Ireland Emigrant Support Programme. ‘The Playboy’ will be followed by ‘Drip’ by Tom Wells (Nov. 6-24) and ‘Iphigenia in Splott’ (March 12- March 30.) The season will end with ‘Square Go’ by Kieran Hurley with shows running June 4 to 22.

There are a plethora of options for subscriptions on Inis Nua’s official site spanning preview, weekday or weekend options at a reduced price. Prices range from $26 to $66, all you have to do is choose which option suits you best.
