Three injured in bar shooting, gunman at large

A gunman opened fire outside a North Philadelphia bar late Tuesday night, injuring three.

The shooter was near the corner of 27th Street and Lehigh Avenue when shots were fired toward a crowd outside Home Plate Sports Bar, NBC reported, adding that police stated that a 30-year-old woman, a 22-year-old man and an 18-year-old man were shot in the legs.

“Preliminary information is that the three victims were standing on the sidewalk in front of a bar that was open for business around 11:30 p.m. when at least five shots rang out,” Philadelphia Police Inspector Scott Small was quoted by NBC.

The victims were taken to the hospital in stable condition, ABC reported in a related article.
Police are reviewing security camera footage for clues and are still trying to find a motive for the shooting, ABC added.
