Tipsters help police catch two accused of stealing refrigerator

Police have arrested two men for stealing a refrigerator during a break-inin South Philadelphia.

Steven Fonnotto, 29 and Angelo Lapalemento, 43, are both charged with burglary and related offenses for the incident.

Surveillance video captured images of two men breaking into a home on the 1500 block of South Fourth Street in September. The video showed the men carting off the fridge.

When that video was released to the public, Philadelphia police said numerous tips came pouring in.

Investigators got a search warrant for a home on the 1900 block of South 19th Street, where Lapalemento lives.
