Trash-Collecting Tricycle Hits the Streets of Kensington’s Commercial Corridor

Henry Pyatt of the New Kensington Community Development Corporation shows off a custom-made trash-collecting tricycle commissioned from Stephen Haley’s Kensington shop, Haley Tricycles. Part-time workers Collin Bryant and Mariusz Tyrk join them to demonstrate how the emissions-free refuse and recyclables collector operates.

Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter came from across the street, where he
was holding a press conference addressing blight reform, to see what the
fuss was about and took the trike for a brief spin.
