Two people were killed and three others were injured in shootings Tuesday in Philadelphia, including a pregnant woman.
Officers were called to the 1900 block of E. Somerset Street in Kensington just after 10 p.m. for a report of gunshots, and they found a 28-year-old pregnant woman with gunshot wounds to her chest and neck.
She was rushed to Temple University Hospital, where she is in critical condition, police said.
According to multiple media reports, investigators believe the woman was hit by a stray bullet. At least one person was arrested, and officers recovered a gun.
Less than a half hour later, just before 10:30 p.m., a 31-year-old man was shot multiple times in the face during what police describe as a domestic incident on the 2900 block of Oakford Street in Grays Ferry.
Officers rushed the victim, identified as Nico Rande-Reed-Johnson, of South Philadelphia, to the hospital. He died shortly thereafter, authorities said.
No arrests have been made, police said.
Earlier in the day, Shyheim Jones, 23, was shot once in the chest just after 2 p.m. on the 1800 block of E. Thayer Street in Harrowgate. Jones, who lived nearby in Kensington, died at around 3:30 p.m. at Temple Hospital.
There was no word on a motive, and detectives continue to search for a suspect.
A 24-year-old man showed up to Jefferson Frankford Hospital at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday after being shot in the neck a couple blocks away, on the 1500 block of Foulkrod Street in Frankford. Police said he is in critical condition.
In Fairhill, a 33-year-old man was shot twice in the right leg just before 5 p.m. on the 2800 block of N. Lawrence Street, authorities said.
The victim walked to Episcopal Hospital, and his injuries are not life-threatening, according to police.
Homicide detectives release surveillance video
Investigators released surveillance video Wednesday of two cars believed to be connected with the murder of a man in Mantua.
A 30-year-old man was fatally shot in the chest at around 2 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, on the 3900 block of Haverford Avenue.
In the video, a pair of vehicles are shown circling the area, before two men hop out, sneak up on the victim and ambush him on the sidewalk.
Authorities described one of the vehicles as a 2017-2020 black Jeep Compass Trailhawk with a black accent on the center of the hood. The other car is a 2000-2005 silver Buick LeSabre or Park Avenue with a blue or purple vanity plate on the front.

Police searching for Germantown gunmen
Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men who they say are responsible for a shooting earlier this month that left six people injured.
The pair opened fire on a group of people just before midnight on Friday, Sept. 4, on the 700 block of E. Chelten Avenue in East Germantown. One of the victims, a 48-year-old man, was sleeping in his upstairs apartment when he was shot in the groin.
Detectives released surveillance video of the shooting Wednesday. Both of the gunmen were wearing dark clothing, and one of the suspects was carrying a handgun with an extended magazine, investigators said.
